WHAT IS RADIOFREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING?
This non-invasive procedure is used for toning the skin. It can help tighten the skin and reduces slagging on the body and face. It can also stimulate the production of collagen, a protein found in the skin that makes it look younger and firmer.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The heating causes a modification of the collagen fibers in the dermis, which causes them to condense. More synthesis of the collagen fibers takes place as the heating triggers the healing mechanism of the skin. This, in turn, causes the skin to tighten and look healthier.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?
Before the procedure, you may require to wash the area that is going to be treated with warm water, in order to remove makeup product and skin oil so they do not cause hindrances in the radiofrequency treatment. The practitioner may apply a topical anesthetic if required, in order to numb the area. The area that is supposed to be treated is marked, this makes it easier to move the radiofrequency device evenly in the whole area. You may experience a warm sensation since the head of the device radiates heat.
Once the radiofrequency skin tightening procedure is finished (generally this treatment does not take more than an hour), the practitioner will apply a soothing cream to the area.
